» Server Rules
These rules will apply the moment that you log into the game, and absolutely no exceptions will be made if you break them.
No botting, macros, or 3rd party programs.
Punishment: This will lead to an immediate ban and any accounts with the same IP will also be banned. DO NOT BOT!
Do not exploit bugs. Please report any bugs you find.
Punishment: If a player is found exploiting a bug, depending on the situation a player may face p-jail* or even a ban.
(*P-jails are jails were your character can -ONLY- get out by paying the GM's requested Zeny amount.)
Do not attempt to scam players.
Punishment: Players found attempting to scam another player out of items or Zeny will be punished. Scamming will get you jailed; repeat offenders will be temp-banned (4-10 days at the LEAST).
Note: This rule does not apply to players that knowingly and willingly give items to other players who later do not return the items. Use your common sense and don't give out items to people you don't trust, unless you're willing to take the risk of possibly not getting them back.
Do not slander or harass other players.
Punishment: Players found using slurs towards others based on their race, religion, gender, or sexual orientation will be muted, jailed, or possibly banned for repeat offenses. This rule also applies to slandering, stalking, or sexually harassing other players.
Note: Use common sense in regards to this rule. Players are expected to deal with arguments or petty insults in a mature manner, not by filing reports every time another player says something they don't like. The above rule was put in for cases of repeated harassment towards other players using slurs or vulgar language, and is not the same as when another player says you suck at RO. So please, keep things in perspective.
No kill stealing.
Punishment: KSing is not allowed, and players found breaking this rule will be jailed. Repeat offenders will face a possible perma ban.
Note: The above does not apply to town spawns, DB spawns, or MVPs as they are free for all.
Do not spam in towns.
Punishment: Players found chat or skill spamming in town will be muted at a GM's discretion. Repeat offenders may face jail time.
Do not put up chats or vends in the street.
Punishment: Players may only put up chats and vends on the sidewalk, and anyone found breaking this rule will be moved and warned. Repeat offenders will be muted 10 minutes for the first warning, with additional time being added to their mute duration for each additional warning.
Note: The above rule also applies to any chat that is blocking an NPC from being used.
Do not impersonate GMs.
Punishment: Players found attempting to impersonate a GM will be immediately banned. (GM impersonation is stupid, since GMs have GM sprites + GM tags, so don't impersonate!)
Do not ask GMs for items or Zeny.
Punishment: Players found asking GMs for items or Zeny will be warned, and if begging persists your character will be jailed.
Do not ask to be a GM.
Punishment: Server administrators will hand pick people to be GMs. Players asking to be GMs will be warned, muted, or possibly jailed in cases of continued begging.
No Server advertisement.
Advertising another server is absolutely NOT allowed on DestinaRO. Players found advertising another server will be immediately jailed, and possibly banned for repeat offences.
Restrictions on AFK leveling/farming.
Punishment: Alchemists will no longer be allowed to be idle for more then 1 hour, and will be messaged from time to time by GMs to make sure they're not breaking this rule. If there is no response from the Alchemist within a one hour period, the player in question is subject to a ban.
Trying to LOOP.
Punishment: No matter how clever you think you are don't attempt to get around the rules, because you can't. GMs are allowed to punish all those who may have broken a rule, regardless of how they did it.
Shadowing abuses.
Openly admiting or hinting towards any bug abuse, will not be tolerated and will result in a permanent ban. DestinaRO will not take lightly to joking matters regarding to any type of bug abuse, this includes but not limited to
» In-Game exploitations
» Unfair advantages
» Duping
» Knowing of a bug but not reporting it.
» Forum exploit
» Account hackings
Mob Dropping.
All forms of mob dropping are not allowed, this includes but not limited to the following:
» Dead Branching players
» Leading a mob of monsters onto a player
» Leaving a mob on a portal
* If you happen to accidently mob drop, politely PM or tell the player an apology, otherwise you're liable to recieve a ban. Repeated offenders will be permanently banned.
Grief Play.
Any type of grief play will not be tolerated and will automatically lead to a tempt-ban to a permanent ban. Forms of grief play include but are not limited to the following list:
» Healing a player(s) monster.
» Using skills that "buff" the monster.
» Attempting to make the monster flee/teleport.
